National Party supports BYC’s protest demos, demands, says central Secretary Information

QUETTA: The central Secretary Information of National Party (NP), Aslam Baloch has stated that the party supports the protest demonstration, public meetings and demands made by the Baloch Yakjehti Committee (BYC).
He was addressing the press conference at Quetta Press Club on Sunday. Other leaders of National Party and its MPA Ms. Kalsoom Niaz were also present on the occasion.
The Secretary Information NP said that we were also with the BYC and would also remain with it in future.
He demanded of the government to meet the demands of BYC.
He said that there is disturbance in the province for last one week and added that the present “non-political and non-serious” government is responsible for the situation created. He charged that the people who are part of the government are going to take advantage of the situation.
He said that the “puppet” government has been imposed on us through Form 47. He said that no one would give weightage to these people if there was political freedom, peace and development in the province.
He said that it is strange that the government has itself blocked different roads in the province for last couple of days.
He said that a peaceful public meeting was scheduled in Gwadar, but the government closed the roads by not allowing the people to participate in it.
He claimed that over 300 persons have been arrested under 16 MPO during last two days.
He demanded of the government to release all the arrested all the arrested persons and recover the missing ones immediately.
