ISLAMABAD, Jul :Minister for Information, Broadcasting, Culture and National Heritage Attaullah Tarar has arrived in the sit-in of Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) at Liaquat Bagh along with a delegation of the government to negotiate with the leadership on their demands.
According to a news statement issued late on Saturday, the minister and his delegation had held a meeting with JI Emir Hafiz Naeem ur Rehman in an amicable environment.
The delegation of the government would hold talks with the JI in a bid to end the sit-in, the statement added.
