_PIA Air Hostess Arrested for Smuggling Foreign Currency_

Asiya Qurban, an air hostess of Pakistan International Airlines (PIA), was arrested by customs officials at Allama Iqbal International Airport for smuggling foreign currency.

_FOREIGN CURRENCY WORTH RS. 37,318 RECOVERED_

The air hostess was found carrying Saudi Riyals and US Dollars worth Rs. 37,318, hidden on her person.
The air hostess was offloaded from a Dubai-bound flight after suspicions arose, and a search revealed the hidden currency.
The search revealed Saudi Riyals hidden on various parts of her body.
A case has been registered, and the air hostess has been handed over to the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) for further investigation.
The FIA has launched an investigation into the smuggling attempt.
PIA officials have refused to comment on the incident.
