Deputy Commissioner Sibi Jahanzeb Sheikh has said that the PHED department is working swiftly to clean all nullahs to ensure the supply of clean drinking water to citizens. He expressed these views during a visit to the central nullahs and pond of the PHED department, accompanied by Additional Deputy Commissioner General Ali Asghar Magsi and XEN PHED Mir Shahak Baloch.
XEN PHED informed the Deputy Commissioner that the cleaning process of nullahs is underway and will be completed soon. He added that due to the flood situation, the water is currently not clean, but after the rains, citizens will have access to clean water at their doorsteps without any difficulties.
Deputy Commissioner Sibi Jahanzeb Sheikh also inspected the Water Distribution System at the Nari River site of the Irrigation Department. XEN Irrigation Khadim Chandio briefed the Deputy Commissioner on the details of water distribution.
