QUETTA: The Education Department, Government of Balochistan has extended long summer vacations for 15 days in the educational institutions fall in the summer zone of province.
According to an official notification issued here the other day, the summer vacations have been extended in the educational institutions till August 15, 2024.
It may be mentioned here that all the educational institutions were scheduled to reopen on August 1 after end of the summer vacations.
However, the summer vacations were extended due to the heat wave in summer zone of the province.
It may also be mentioned here that the summer vacations had been started in educational institutions of the summer zone from mid of May this year.
The educational institutions located in the winter zone of Balochistan are already closed in connection with the short summer vacations.
