JI’s caravans proceed for Islamabad to take part in today’s dharna

QUETTA: The caravans of Jama’at-e-Islami (JI) proceeded for Islamabad from different areas of Balochistan on Thursday.
The caravans of JI workers headed by the provincial leaders including Maulana Abdul Haq Hashmi, Zahid Akhtar Baloch and others left by trains, passenger coaches and own vehicles.
The members of provincial assembly, Maulana Hidayatur Rehman Baloch and Abdul Majeed Badini also proceeded for Islamabad along with their caravans.
The JI caravans would participate in the JI protest dharna being staged in Islamabad today (Friday).
The JI’s central Ameer, Hafiz Naeemur Rehman to lead the protest sit-in against the increasing inflation, electricity tariffs, taxes and other public issues.
The Islamabad’s protest dharna is aimed at decreasing inflation, power utility tariffs, taxes, ending the agreements with IPPs and steering the masses out of hardships.
