Govt. decides to increase number of green buses in Quetta: Secretary Transport

QUETTA: The Government of Balochistan has decided to increase number of green buses in Quetta.
According to the Secretary Transport Department, Hayat Kakar, 10 more green buses are being brought costing Rs. 980 million.
Similarly, summary is also being prepared to bring 20 more buses on directives of the Chief Minister, Mir Sarfraz Ahmed Bugti, the Secretary Transport informed. The new buses to be purchases are also included the pink buses for women, Hayat Kakar maintained.
It may be mentioned here that eight green buses are plying in the provincial metropolis. The green buses ply on the route of Baleli (BUITEMS) to Sariab road (Balochistan University).
The Secretary Transport informed that an average 9,000 people travel on the green buses in Quetta.
