SWAT: Allotment letters for plots in the Swat Media Colony were distributed among members of the Swat Press Club and Union of Journalists. The letters were handed over by Sherinzada, Press Club Chairman, and Fazal Khaliq Khan, General Secretary, during a joint meeting of the Swat Press Club, Union of Journalists, and governing body members.
The meeting also delved into the details of the grant received from the provincial government for the year 2023-24. Journalists expressed their gratitude to the provincial government and called for simplifying the plot allotment procedure for all Swat Press Club members.
Journalists hailed the allotment of plots in the media colony as a major achievement, acknowledging that the members’ demands for streamlined procedures and resolution of challenges faced by working journalists are legitimate and pressing concerns that need attention from the authorities.
