QUETTA: The Government of Balochistan has decided to present stance of the province at federal level and that in the upcoming meeting of Council of Common Interests (CCI) in wholehearted manner.
The decision to this effect was made in a meeting chaired by the Chief Minister, Mir Sarfraz Ahmed Bugti here on Thursday.
Those who were present in the meeting were included the parliamentary secretary for Inter-provincial Coordination, Ms. Meena Majeed Baloch, Chief Secretary, Shakeel Qadir Khan, Secretary, Inter-Provincial Coordination, Syed Sikandar Shah, Secretary Irrigation, Hafiz Abdul Majid, Secretary Irrigation, Bashir Ahmed Bazai besides other concerned high ups.

Addressing the meeting, Chief Minister said that the interests of province would be given preference in the next meeting of CCI at every cost, and all the decisions would be made keeping in view the public interest.
He said that it is the endeavour of provincial government to present the case of province at federal level in wholehearted manner and take practical steps for overall development and prosperity of the province resolving the issues of province with the federal government.
Moreover, the Chief Minister also reiterated his government’s resolve to make utmost efforts to ensure acquisition of the receipts out of the province’s resources from the federal government.
