Quetta, June 27 (independent Report ): The Governor’s House Quetta has been recognized for its outstanding services in protecting the environment and ecosystem. The historic building, which has been a symbol of Balochistan’s rich history for over 150 years, has preserved thousands of trees and plants, and also provided care and regular food supply to rare birds.
Speaking at a special ceremony held on World Environment Day, Colonel Tanvir Hussain, Military Secretary to the Governor of Balochistan, received a commemorative shield on behalf of the Governor’s House Quetta from the Pakistan Poverty Alleviation Fund (PPAF).
The ceremony was attended by various officials, including British-era Chief Commissioners, Governors, Military Secretaries, Principal Secretaries, and other officers, who have rendered commendable services to the environment.
The recognition acknowledges the Governor’s House Quetta’s commitment to environmental protection and ecosystem preservation, setting an example for others to follow.
