Project being started to bring out of school children in schools, says Secretary Education

QUETTA: The Secretary Education Department, Saleh Muhammad Nasar has stated that the government is going to start a project aimed at bringing out of school children in schools in the province.
Talking to media, the Secretary Education informed that around 3.1 million children are out of schools in the province. In view of this situation, a project is being started to bring out of schools in the schools.
The Secretary Education told that the notices of termination have been issued to some 1800 teachers on the charges of absence from their duties.
Besides, 323 absentee teachers have also been dismissed from the service, the Secretary Education added.
He also informed that biometric system is being installed for attendance of the teachers in schools from July 1, 2024. The project of installation of biometric system would cost Rs. 200 million, he maintained.
