L.M.C presented budget of 3 billion for the year 2024 – 25

LARKANA : Last day, under the chairmanship of Larkana Mayor Advocate Anwar Ali Luhar , the revised budget of the financial year 2022-23 and the proposed budget for the year 2024-25 under Sindh Local Government Rules Budget 2017 were presented in the House of Larkana Municipal Corporation ( LMC), meeting held in the conference hall of the Municipal Corporation Larkana, Chairman of the Finance Committee Muhammad Qasim Baloch presented the budget of 3 billion 13 crore 66 lakh 52 thousand 219 rupees in the House for the year 2024-25, where Deputy Mayor Muhammad Amin Sheikh, Municipal Corporation member Khair Muhammad Shaikh, Munir Ahmed Soomro, Naeem Tanyu, Sher Muhammad Leghari, Muhammad Rafiq Kermani, Owais Abbasi, Abdul Hafeet Samtio, Yusuf Bhutto, Advocate Aslam Mughiri Kashif Omrani, Ibrahim Khoso, Sajid Domki, Babar Abro, Ghulam Nabi Bhutto, Shahzeb Abro, Saeed Soomro, including female members Amina Jamali, Zeenat Bhutto, Shabiran Jokio, Nuzhat Pathan and municipal commissioners Javed Abbasi, Miandad Buledi, Sabir Abbasi, Abdul Wahab and related officials of the office and others participated in the budget meeting for the salaries of employees 20 crore for pension and gratuity and financial assistance and 36 crore for contingency and development works, while in the proposed budget, aid for press club, welfare of women and transgender, pipelines for the poor, solar plate , sewing machines, grants for providing scholarships to students while development sports activities, retirement benefits for municipal employees, Hinglaj Yatra, and funerals of the bereaved were also allocated in addition to the ongoing development projects in the city. A crore 79 lakh was also allocated for completing the works and for new development projects, while a crore 50 lakh was allocated for the maintenance of the motor generators of 33 disposals in the city, while money was also allocated for lighting in 20 union committees, while the municipal Reforms were made in the property and tax collection of the corporation, while one crore rupees were also allocated for the payment of bills was done.
