Debate on provincial budget for next FY continues:

QUETTA: The Chief Minister Balochistan, Mir Sarfraz Ahmed Bugti has categorically stated that the funds would be released for the development schemes seeing pace of work.
The funds would be released for the schemes on which the pace of work is expedited and faster.
The Chief Minister was expressing his views at the budget session of provincial assembly while the Speaker, Captain (Retd) Abdul Khaliq Achakzai was in the chair on Monday.
The Chief Minister asserted that the release of funds would be made for the schemes in proportion of pace of work on them.
He said that the provincial cabinet has already prepared policy for implementation on the development projects.
However, the briefing regarding speed of work of implementation on the development schemes remained sorrowful.
Expressing vies on the budget, the Provincial Minister for Home, Mir Ziaullah Langove congratulated the Chief Minister and his team on presented good budget for the next financial year.
He said that we have to think about the province from one angle to put it on path of the development.
He stressed that we have to come on one page for improving law and order situation in the province.
He said that the anti-state elements are conspiring to create law and order situation as such we have to come on one page against the anti-state elements.
The Advisor for Women Development, Dr. Rubaba Buledi termed the budget as historic saying that the historic budget was presented.
She said that much preference was given towards education, health and climate change sectors in the budget and hoped that there would be improvement in these sectors in time to come.
The Minister Planning and Development, Mir Zahoor Ahmed Buledi said that the provincial budget reflects the aspiration of people of Balochistan. He said that the government has presented balanced and public friendly budget. He said that the public exchequer would be spent on the public welfare.
The Minister Agriculture, Ali Madad Jatak also described the budget as public friendly.
Earlier, the leader of Opposition Mir Zabid Reki alleged that his constituency has been neglected in the budget.
He said that the people of Washuk district are patriotic. But the district was overlooked in the budget, he alleged.
He also pointed out that the projects of Balochistan were ignored in the federal budget.
The member of assembly, Dr. Abdul Malik Baloch said that the provincial assembly should be run according to the traditions.
He charged that most of the schemes of Opposition members have been excluded from the budget. The low cost schemes have been included in the budget, he added.
The members of Opposition also staged walk out from the session on the issue. However, they ended their boycott on assurance of the government committee formed by house.
