QUETTA: The Governor Balochistan, Sheikh Jaffar Khan Mandokhail has categorically stated that peaceful and prosperous Afghanistan is in the interest of the whole region. He said that Pakistan and Afghanistan are two brotherly neighbouring countries and neighbours do not change. This is why establishing pleasant friendship and sustainable peace with the neighbouring countries is an important part of international relations.
The Governor was speaking to the Afghan Consul General based in Quetta, Maulvi Gul Hasan, who called on him here at the Governor House on Thursday.
During the course of meeting, matters of mutual interests including issues faced by the students of Afghanistan in the country were discussed.
The Governor assured his best cooperation for resolving the issues of students studying in different universities and their welfare.
