Pakistan’s economic system can  be strengthened by creating new  openings for traders: Governor

QUETTA: The Governor Balochistan, Sheikh Jaffar Khan Mandokhail has emphasized on creating new opportunities for the people associated with the trade and industry so that they may contribute in the national economy to strengthen it further.
The Governor also stressed the need to hold a grand function for those associated with the commerce and industry in Quetta city.
He was speaking to the delegation who called on him under leadership of the President of Quetta Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Abdullah Khan Achakzai here at the Governor House on Wednesday.
During the course of meeting, the matters about establishment of Expo center were discussed besides the hardships being faced by the business community.
The Governor said that there are vast opportunities of profitable investment in Balochistan as such the investors must benefit from them.
He said that there is very important role of Balochistan in development and prosperity of the country. This province can give an access to Iran, Afghanistan and especially to the Central Asia.
He further said that the country’s economic system can be strengthened further by providing the people associated with the commerce and industry necessary facilities besides creating new opportunities for them in backdrop of the existing political and economic situation.
To a query, the Governor said that the representation of our traders is necessary at certain forums besides taking their opinions for formulating the policy regarding trade, industry and minerals.
Referring their problems, the Governor said that he is well aware of their issues just because he has also been part of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
