Federal Minister for Law and Justice and Human Rights Senator Azam Nazir Tarar has said that all religions have full religious freedom in Pakistan

Islamabad, June 4 : Federal Minister for Law and Justice and Human Rights Senator Azam Nazir Tarar has said that all religions have full religious freedom in Pakistan, Guru Nanak’s teachings negate materialism, Sikh community has an important role in the development of Pakistan.

He expressed these views while addressing a symposium organized by the Institute of Regional Studies titled “Sikhism: Contribution to Global Peace and Prosperity and Role in the Far East”. He warmly welcomed and said that the people of Pakistan respect Sikh traditions very much and the relationship between Islam and Sikhism is very strong.

Federal Law Minister Azam Nazir Tarar said that he welcomes all the Sikh pilgrims on their arrival in Pakistan. He said that no religion allows hatred and violence, serving humanity should be our mission.

The Federal Minister said that Prime Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif has sent his greetings to you and we are creating more facilities for the Sikh pilgrims coming to Pakistan.
