On J the Chief Minister of Balochistan, Mir Safraz Bugti, provided a cash assistance of Rs 1 million (10 lakh) to the widow of Rashid Masih, a minority resident who was a victim of terrorism in Quetta last month. The assistance was handed over to the widow at her residence in Bashirabad, Quetta, by the Parliamentary Secretary for Minority Affairs, Sanjay Kumar, and the Spokesperson for the Government of Balochistan, Shahid Rind, along with Deputy Commissioner Quetta, Saad Bin Asad. The Chief Minister expressed his condolences and assured that the government will provide compensation to the heirs according to its policy, but he personally sent the assistance to help the widow and her children immediately. Minority leaders were also present on the occasion.
