The Residents Club of Wapda Town organized a very successful Literary Session, presided over by Mr. Ghulam Haider Sheikh. The theme of the event was *Importance of Mother Tongue* and included interesting speeches and discussions on various topics.
Resident Club Wapda Town’s spirit, *Sheikh Khalid Ahmed* presented the aims and objectives of the Residents Club, which include promoting community spirit and cultural harmony among the residents. He also highlighted the club’s achievements so far, including various successful events that have contributed to the development and cohesion of the community.
APP’s Chief Reporter, Feature Writer, YouTuber and Senior Journalist *Mr Muhammad Abdullah* discussed the important topic of social development and harmony. His presentation highlighted the importance of community cohesion and proactive measures to improve the social fabric of Wapda Town.
The guest of honor of the event, well-known Punjabi poet, writer and intellectual Mr. Hasim Javed presented his heart-touching poetry. His emotional lyrics deeply moved the audience and celebrated the beauty and emotional depth of the Punjabi language.
Mr. Ghulam Haider Shaikh, Senior Columnist, Feature Writer and Editor-in-Chief of Barjasta International Monthly, President of the event delivered an influential speech on the importance of mother tongue, in which he emphasized the role of mother tongue in preserving cultural heritage and identity. . His visionary ideas highlighted the intellectual consciousness in the event.
