PESHAWAR – Takbeer Day was celebrated with enthusiasm at Islamia College Peshawar. On this occasion, the Vice Chancellor of Islamia College, Professor Dr. Ali Muhammad Yousafzai, was the guest of honor. The event began with the recitation of the Quran in mosques, followed by prayers for the safety of Pakistan. Special prayers were also organized in various hostels of Islamia College for the upliftment of Pakistan. The Vice Chancellor stated that May 28th holds great significance in the history of Pakistan. He remarked that today, Pakistan is stronger and more stable than it was in 1998. He emphasized that the entire nation holds its head high with pride. May 28th represents an ideology, a thought, and a story of the eternal truth of love for the country. He expressed a commitment to sacrificing all personal sorrows and interests for the sake of Pakistan, ensuring that the motherland will never fall. He affirmed that this country is our mother, our home, and the source of our honor, recognition, and identity. He prayed to Allah Almighty to always keep Pakistan on the map of the world. The event was also attended by a large number of Olympic athletes.
