(Independent reports). on the successful completion of a written test for candidates applying to Rescue 1122 in Gilgit-Baltistan. The test was held at Gilgit High School No. 1 and Skardu, and was made possible through the efforts of Abrar Ahmed Mirza, Secretary Chief Secretary Gilgit-Baltistan, Captain (R) Ali Asghar, Secretary Interior Gilgit-Baltistan, and Shuja Alam, Director General Rescue 1122 Gilgit-Baltistan.

The test was monitored by Deputy Director GBDMA Zahoor Din Babar, Emergency Officer Rescue 1122 Engineer Kaleem Ullah, and other members. Director General Rescue 1122 Shuja Alam stated that all stages of the recruitment process will be merit-based and transparent. He also mentioned that Rescue 1122 was established in Gilgit and Skardu in 2012, following the model of Punjab, and that after the establishment of Rescue 1122 in Shigar, Kharmang, and Gilgit-Skardu Road, the rescue service will be activated in all districts of Gilgit-Baltistan
