Provincial Minority Affairs Minister Ramesh Singh Arora’s notice on the Sargodha incident

Provincial Minister for Minority Affairs Ramesh Singh Arora has contacted Home Secretary Punjab, taking notice of the alleged blasphemy in Mujahid Colony Sargodha. After which, under the supervision of DPO Sargodha Dr. Asad Ijaz Malhi, the security of the churches in the entire district was tightened and more than 1000 security personnel were deployed in all the churches in Sargodha on Sunday. Religious services are offered by the Christian community in churches on Sunday, the provincial minister for minority affairs appealed to the people of Sargodha not to take the law into their own hands and to rest assured that the law enforcement agencies are investigating. He said that the culprits will be severely punished but maintain unity in their ranks till the inquiry is completed and let the security agencies carry out their duties. The provincial minister made it clear that insulting any religion cannot be allowed, but we all have to do our duty to establish a peaceful society.
