Islamabad (Ind:Report) The Pakistan Coast Guards, following the orders of Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Nawaz, have taken action against drug trafficking and smuggling along the coastal belt. They have seized:
– 2052 kg of hashish
– 5837 kg of opium
– Gutka and other contraband items
– 7 speed boats
– 18 vehicles
– 293,000 liters of petrol and diesel
– Dairy and bakery products
– Grocery items and cosmetics
– Electrical appliances, tires, and spare parts
During the operation, 25 illegal immigrants were also arrested. The Federal Interior Minister has praised the Pakistan Coast Guards for their performance and has ordered them to continue their crackdown on drug trafficking and smuggling without any discrimination.
