All stakeholders to be consulted before any change in Master Plan of Gwadar Shipyard, announces CM

QUETTA: The Chief Minister Balochistan, Mir Sarfraz Ahmed Bugti has expressed concern about the shifting of Shipyard in Sur Bandar from Kapar area of Gwadar.
The Chief Minister asserted that we would take review of the matter that why the need of reviewing the Gwadar Shipyard Master Plan arises?
He insisted that why all aspects were not reviewed before establishing Shipyard in Kapar area of Gwadar?
While chairing a meeting about the Gwadar shipyard Master plan and related matters here on Wednesday, the Chief Minister sought detail report from the Commissioner that why the Shipyard established in Kapar according to the feasibility report was shifted in Sur Bandar?
He directed to present detail comparison report based on the two-side stance on the review of Shipyard site.
The Chief Minister announced that consultation would be made with all stakeholders before any change in the Master Plan of Shipyard.
In this regard, decision would be made on merit in light of the detail reports in next meeting, he added.
Those who were present in the meeting were included Provincial Ministers Mir Zahoor Buledi, Mir Shoaib Nausherwani, Chief Secretary, Shakeel Qadir Khan, Chairman Gwadar Port Authority, Pasand Khan Buledi, Additional Chief Secretary Development, Abdul Saboor Kakar, Secretary Finance, Babar Khan, Principal Secretary to Chief Minister, Imran Zarkoon, Special Secretary, Asfandyar Baloch and senior Project Coordinator, Shahzad Hasan Jaffar.
