Deputy Commissioner Ghotki has changed the timings of public and private schools in Ghotki district in view of the severe heat wave.
According to the details, under the severe heat wave alert issued by PDMA Sindh, Deputy Commissioner Ghotki Dr. Syed Muhammad Ali issued a notification in accordance with the National Disaster Management Act 2010 to 22 public and private schools of Ghotki district. The working hours have been changed till May 27.
According to the notification, the school hours on Monday to Thursday and Saturday will be from 7.30 am to 12.00 pm and on Friday from 7.30 am to 11.30 am. Instructions have also been issued to the concerned officials to follow the notification and take precautionary measures to avoid heat.
