QUETTA: The Speaker Balochistan Assembly, Captain (Retd) Abdul Khaliq Achakzai has regretfully pointed out that the secretaries of government departments didn’t come in the assembly session despite his ruling in this regard.
The Speaker was chairing the session of provincial assembly here on Friday.
Earlier, the Member of Provincial Assembly, Mir Asadullah Baloch also pointed out that the official gallery is empty despite ruling of the Speaker.
He said that neither Chief Secretary nor Inspector General of Police comes in the assembly during the session.
He observed that these officers consider them to be above the assembly.
The leader of Opposition, Younas Aziz Zehri on a point of order mentioned that Chief Secretary is also reluctant to meet the members of assembly. He stressed that the Chief Secretary should respect every member.
