Revolutionary changes to be brought in agriculture sector, pledges Ali Madad Jatak

QUETTA: The Provincial Minister for Agriculture, Mir Ali Madad Jatak has stated that revolutionary changes would be brought in the agriculture sector of the province.
He said that at present the major issue being faced by the zamindars is electricity supply. He assured that every possible steps would be taken to provide relief to the zamindars resolving their issues.
The provincial government has prepared strategy for converting the agricultural tube wells of the province on solar energy in collaboration with the federal government.
The Provincial Minister for Agriculture was speaking on occasion of the visit to Directorate General of Water Management here on Thursday.
The Director General Water Management Maqsood Ahmed briefed the Minister about the overall functioning of the institution.
Also present on the occasion were the senior officers of Water Management from all districts.
Ali Madad Jatak said that water management is very important section of the Agriculture department.
On one hand zamindars benefit from the water management but it also plays important role for stopping wastage of water, he added.
The Minister said that every possible effort would be made to remove hurdles for bringing improvement in the water management sector and release funds for it.
