SHIKARPUR: One assailant attacked on the house of Father-in-law which resulted his wife died on the spot and several injured in the firing occured in the jurisdiction of Dilawar Marfani police station on Sunday.
According to initial reports reached here that one accused opened fires upon his Father-in-law house, as a result of firing, his wife named Musamat Leela was killed on the spot. While four others including Musamat Farzana Khatoon, Ali Bux, Meer Muhammad and Pathan all by cast Marfanis were injured.
The injured were sent to Government Hospital for Medical treatment.
Further investigation into the matter is in process, area police added.
No FIR was registered till late evening.
