QUETTA: The annual Hinglaj mata mela (festival) of the Hindu community began in Lasbela on Friday.
The Hindu yatrees from different parties of the country including Balochistan are participating in the festival.
Necessary arrangements have been made to facilitate yayrees turning up there for performing Hindu religious rituals, stated the Additional Deputy Commissioner (General) and Focal Person for Hinglaj Mata festival, Syed Yaseen Akhtar.
A medical camp has been set up for three-day festival of Hinglaj mata where trained staff and doctors have been deputed.
In all 100 volunteers are also assisting the administration to provide facilities to yatrees.
