QUETTA: The spokesman, Government of Balochistan has stated that the measures are continued to cope with the extraordinary situation of rains in the province.
According to the spokesman, Government of Balochistan, eight persons died while nine others injured in different incidents of lightning and roof collapse occurred in different areas of the province.
The spokesman informed that initial reports of the damages have been received.
As per the reports, around 40 houses were damaged due to the rains and flash flood in the province.
Similarly, around 90 houses were partially damaged during the rains.
The spokesman of provincial government informed that link roads have also been affected in the rain hit areas of the province,
However, work is continued on rehabilitation of the communication means in the affected districts.
The survey has also been started to determine the losses caused in the affected areas of Balochistan, the spokesman added.
