SHIKARPUR: The Four Daily Wages sanitary workers went unconscious and sent to Shikarpur District Headquarter Hospital for medical treatment where unavailabity of health facilities, were referred to Sukkur hospital on Sunday.
According to reports, one Daily Wage Sanitary worker Qavi Kumar was on it’s Municipal Committee duty entered in the main hole for sanitary work and suddenly went out of sense due to heavy gutter gas inside, later three other sanitary workers and citizens including Hyder Sheikh, Muhammad Yousuf Soomro and Muhammad Ibrahim entered in the gutter hole to rescue their worker and they all went unconscious.
The citizens transported them to RBUT Civil Hospital Shikarpur. But as usually, due to lake of health facilities and unavailabity of staff there, two of them including Qavi Kumar sanitary worker referred to Sukkur hospital due to their precarious condition.
