The patient and attendants looted in Ambulance in Shikarpur

SHIKARPUR: An other incident of firing on Ambulance occurred in district Shikarpur which caused one seriously injured and Police Wireless Operator patient died due to road robbery on last night in the jurisdiction of Chak Police Station in late hours.
According to reports reached here that one Ambulance carrying the police wireless operator patient ASI Abdul Khaliq Sethar accompanied with his son and other relatives were on it’s way from Chak to Sukkur when some group of 8 to 10 armed bandits came on road and opened fires upon the ambulance and deprived them from cash and Mobile Phones on gun point.
As a result of firing, the one attendant (Nephew) identified as Jahanzaib Sethar of patient got injured in the firing of dacoits.
While seeing the scenario of firing, the patient could not bear it and succumbed to his pain and died at hospital due to late arrival.
The injured was sent to Sukkur hospital due to his precious condition.
The son of patient Zohaib Sethar and other victims who were traveling in Ambulance allegedly said that they begging to the dacoits that their one when the dacoits opened fires on their ambulance and while hostaging them on gun point near to standing police mobile of Jahan Khan Police Picket some far flanges and such incident the police Jawans saw themselves and did not bothered to resist and save them and dacoits managed their good escape while commiting the offence easily without any fear of Police, Which is a big question mark over their duty?
They have demanded of IG Police Sindh and DIG Larkana and newly posted SSP Shikarpur Irfan Samo to early arrest the involved outlaws and award them severe punishment as per Law and provide due justice with victim family.
It may be recalled that the law and order situation of District Shikarpur is going to be worst day by day which caused record increase in heinous offences including murders, road robberies, kidnapping for ransom, dacoities, street crimes etc due to poor performance of District Shikarpur police which picture of Wana Waziristan.
