Caretaker Government takes significant steps to promote livestock sector Provincial minister Livestock Ibrahim Hasan Murad

Lahore   Provincial Minister Livestock Ibrahim Hasan Murad said in a statement that significant initiatives were taken in the Livestock sector during the one-year period of caretaker government of Punjab such as the launch of the Pakistan Animal Tracking System, the first disease control center establishment in the history of Pakistan, mobilizing Punjab Halal Development Agency, installation of trackers in 256 livestock vehicles, ensuring provision of loans to livestock farmers with the help of Bank of Punjab, implementation of cooperative farming in every district and handing over dormant livestock farms to the private sector for mobilisation. He said that he fulfilled his responsibility in a good manner and it is hoped that the next government will also promote the livestock sector in such manner.
