Rule of law to be upheld at every cost: CS

QUETTA: The caretaker Provincial Minister for Home, Mir Muhammad Zubair Jamali has directed the concerned high ups to resolve the election result-related matters at the earliest.
He also directed to resolve the issues of candidates as per law saying that it is our top priority to maintain law and order situation in the province.
The caretaker Minister Home was on visit to the Election Control Room established for monitoring of general elections here on Friday.
The Chief Secretary, Shakeel Qadir Khan joined the Minister through video link.
The Additional Chief Secretary Home, Zahid Saleem briefed the Minister and Chief Secretary about the protest sit-ins being staged at four different places of the province.
The Commissioners, Deputy Commissioners and Deputy Inspectors of General Police also briefed about the final phase of the election process in their respective areas.
Speaking on the occasion, Minister Home paid tributes to the bureaucracy and security forces on conducting of the elections in peaceful manner.
Chief Secretary on the occasion pledged that rule of law would be upheld at every cost.
He said that our challenges have not been over regarding security. He underlined the need to resolve the issues of candidates as per the law.
