Lahore  : Provincial Minister Ibrahim Hasan Murad presided over the important meeting of Livestock Department in new minister block on Thursday. In the meeting PAITS, MVD tracking system, disease control compartments, Animal tracking system in Punjab and South Punjab, ongoing development schemes and demand & supply of BN hybrid fodder reviewed in details. The minister directed strong field mechanism should be developed for field monitoring staff while
login for random check of farmer’s feedback should be implemented. He said that the monthly review task committee will be constitute by the department to check and monitor the progress of the all tasks and also needed Fast follow-up on drafted PAITS rules to Law
Department regarding mandatory registration of
animals, Fast Registration of animals on PAITS in south Punjab. He also directed to revise the Scheme regarding the procurement of animal tags for farmers also revise the Scheme regarding marketing of PAITS and BN-hybrid project. He further directed to Protein test of BN-hybrid (Sample collection from
different areas) from different Labs to check the
Nutrition level and Field hospitals analysis and bench marking
according to animal’s population. He ordered to
Constitute the Inspection Committees to check
the animal’s health, nutrition on livestock farms and in this regard submit a report within 3 days. He cleared that the he PLDD board project of Semen Production Unit will be incorporated in scheme to make it functional while the he backyard poultry project should be revise
and started at only one district to check its impact
level. He emphasized on
Barcode scanning mechanism regarding supply chain of vaccines and Notified dress for field staff of Livestock field hospitals.
