People’s Party Tehsil Rustam’s general secretary, Tufail Khan, joined the ANP.

Mardan Rustam (Atiq Ur Rahman Khaksar)

Awami National Party leader and city mayor Mardan Hemayatullah Mayar, along with ANP NA-21 candidate Ahmed Ali Khan and PK-55 candidate Sohail Bacha, held a crowded press conference at Rustam Press Club and welcomed People’s Party tehsil Rustam’s general secretary Tufail Khan, along with his family and friends, to ANP membership and put a cap on him.

He said that Maulana Fazlur Rehman is trying to postpone the elections by making excuses of cold and security threats. Maulana Sahib, I want to remind you that the ANP and Pakistan security forces have faced the terrorists bravely but did not demand to postpone the elections in 2008. Maulana Sahib left the pious scholars and issued tickets to the capitalists and landlords, disappointing his own party workers. The city mayor also criticized PTI and said that ANP had left a huge amount in the provincial treasury, but PTI’s incompetent rulers emptied the treasury and made the country and province indebted by billions of rupees.

Those who have been in power for nine years have no relation to PTI now; they are all free and will go to other parties after success. During the press conference, he further said that Senator Dilawar Khan presented a resolution on the Senate floor to postpone the election, while he himself went to the Senate on the ticket of Muslim League-N and is now preferring JUI and has fielded his son and brother from Rustam in the election, who himself is selling his conscience by sending votes to the Senate every time.

His son and brother will never serve the people. If you want to postpone the election, the solution is to boycott the election. He further said that the talk of heaven and hell is over now; do not deceive the people in the name of Islam, and do not give the status of the Quran to a common book. Awami National Party is based on service, which believes in practical service. The people are appealing to be given a chance to serve the province again by stamping the lantern on February 8. In the end, he put ANP caps on Tufail Khan, his father, Iqbal Khan, and others
