Munu Bhai’s 6th Death anniversary prayer ceremony was held at Sundas Foundation in Lahore. Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Murtaza Solangi specially participated in the ceremony. President Sundas Foundation Yasin Khan along with his team welcomed him while Patron Sundas Foundation Sohail Waraich, Director Sundas Foundation Khalid Abbas Dar, well-known columnist Dr. Sughra Sadaf, Hafeezullah Niazi and senior journalist and analyst Mujeebur Rehman were also present on the occasion. All the participants paid rich tribute to the services of Munu bhai. Earlier, Federal Minister Murtaza Solangi visited the children suffering from thalassemia and hemophilia and distributed gifts among the sick children. He also reviewed the blood exchange facilities, labs and donation delivery mechanism. Addressing the prayer ceremony, the Federal Minister said that Sundas Foundation is a great effort of Munu bhai and his service to the suffering humanity will always be remembered. Murtaza Solangi said that Munu bhai was primarily a philanthropist. He devoted his entire life to children. President Sundas Foundation Yasin Khan said in his address that Sundas Foundation has been engaged in the service of suffering humanity for the past 26 years and is holding the flag of Munu bhai as an excellent team work. Yasin Khan said that thalassemia is a painful disease, but parents should ensure the test before marriage to protect their children from the disease. Well-known analyst Sohail Waraich said that Munu bhai was a master in every art, learned a lot from him and even today carries out his mission. Mujibur Rahman Shami said that Munu Bhai always loved the deprived sections while his writings will always remain among us. Dr. Sughra Sadaf said that Munu bhai satisfied his Lord through service of his creation. Munu bhai always spoke against the exploitation of humanity. Hafizullah Niazi and Khalid Abbas Dar said that Sundas Foundation is honestly delivering your donations to the deserving and we appeal to the philanthropists to actively participate in this good work. At the end of the ceremony, a special prayer was also offered for the forgiveness of Munu Bhai.
