QUETTA: A meting jointly chaired by the Commissioner Quetta Division, Muhammad Hamza Shafqaat and Joint Provincial Election Commissioner (PEC) Tahir Mansoor Khan have decided to ensure implementation on the election Code of Conduct and take stern action against its violation in Quetta division.
The meeting was attended by all district returning officers (DROs), District Monitoring Officers (DMOs) besides other concerned officials.
The meeting reviewed implementation on the election Code of Conduct.
The DROs and DMOs were directed to ensure implementation on the Code of Conduct regarding elections and take stern action against those violating the same.
It was observed that there are complaints of Code of Conduct regarding elections from the candidates and political parties.
Therefore, all DROs and DMOs should take stern action against the violators of Conde of Conduct.
In this regard, show cause notices should be issued and fines be charged to the violators, it was directed further.
Moreover, they were also directed to submit report of the action taken against violation of Conduct of Conduct on daily basis.
