QUETTA: Ban has been imposed on transfer and posting in the Police Department with immediate effect.
According to an official notification issued here on Wednesday, the ban on transfer and posting in Police Department would remain imposed till the general elections in the country.
In this regard, the competent authority has directed all the deputy inspector generals of police and other commanding officers to implement ban on all kinds of transfers and postings in their respective jurisdictions.
