QUETTA: As the election process moves on, the candidates contesting polls are becoming active in Balochistan province as elsewhere in the country.
In Balochistan, some female candidates have also come on the forefront to contest and venture the elections.
Among them is also the wife of former Chief Minister and leader of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz, Jam Kamal Khan, Ms. Maria Jam Kamal.
Ms. Maria Jam Kamal is going to contest elections from NA-257 after her husband Jam Kamal decided to contest polls from two constituencies of the provincial assembly i.e., PB-21 & PB-22.
Maria Jam Kamal has submitted her nomination papers as an independent candidate.
Needless to mention here is that it is for the first time that any family member of Jam Kamal and that her wife is taking part in the general elections.
