QUETTA: Over 100 drug addicts and drug peddlers were arrested during an operation conducted by the police in main city nullah, circular road here on Saturday.
According to the police sources, the operation was conducted early Saturday morning in the main city nullah.
During the operation, over 100 drug addicts and paddlers were arrested.
Scene was also created on the occasion when some from the addicts and paddlers resisted and opened fire on the police party.
However, the police retaliated and during this course, two drug addicts were injured. They were shifted to the civil hospital under police custody.
Meanwhile, the arrested drug addicts were also removed to different police stations.
