QUETTA: The elderly politician from Makran and former Provincial Minister, Mir Abdul Ghafoor Kalmati was laid to rest in the ancestral graveyard in Kalmat area of Gawadar on Saturday.
A large number of people belonging to different walks of life including politicians, social personalities, elders and other people attended the funeral prayer and burial of Abdul Ghafoor Kalmati.
Among them were also the president of Balochistan National Party, Sardar Akhtar Mengal and other party leaders.
Mir Abdul Ghafoor Kalmati died in Karachi after protracted illness on Friday.
His body was taken to Gwadar from Karachi on Friday morning.
