GoB abandons public ceremonies on New Year due to Palestine situation

QUETTA: The caretaker Government of Balochistan had abandoned the public gatherings and ceremonies on eve of New Year due to the tragic incidents occurred in Palestine that claimed lives of large number of Palestinians.
In an official statement issued here on Sunday, the caretaker Provincial Minister for Information, Jan Achakzai said that we are going to abandon all public ceremonies of the New Year following the directives of caretaker Prime Minister Anwaarul Haq Kakar.
Jan Achakzai sa that we would encourage the people to observe the occasion remembering the aggrieved Palestinians in their prayers and give charity to the deserving people.
The Minister Information said that let express solidarity and support the Palestinian brethren and sisters who are grieved and in pain.
We still remember those people who embraced martyrdom and bring hope and sympathy with them, adding he stressed.
Jan said that we share the grief with Palestinian people. He said that Pakistan has always raised voice for the right of freedom of the Palestinians at every front.
He said that recent barbarism and massacre of innocent Palestinians has exposed the naked face of Israel.
