QUETTA: In all 351 more electricity connections of the defaulters of utility bills and arrears were disconnected and 64 tempered and shunt meters were removed during last 24 hours in all operation circles of Quetta Electricity Supply Company (QESCO).
According to the spokesman of QESCO, the drive against defaulters and power pilferers is continued all over the province.
The QESCO has managed to collect over Rs. 320 million on account of the detection and fine from the power pilferers in the province.
Similarly, over Rs. 2.2 billion have been recovered from some 1,27,867 defaulters during the campaign, the QESCO spokesman maintained.
