Khairpur (P.R): Culture day was celebrated with grandeur at Ghani Public Elementary School Kolab Jail near Khairpur. Mian Abdul Haq Farooqui, Sajjadah nashin of Dargah Sachal Sarmast, who came on this occasion, shared his thoughts and said that we are once again on the path of reviving and preserving our rich culture and traditions. He said that the manner in which the school students have given a briefing to stop the genocide of Bulhan(Blind dolphin of sindh) is commendable. He said that hunting is not a fish to make it food, it is our duty to protect its rare species. He said that by presenting a practical example of Kunbhar work, this cultural program has been given a lot of attention.
The central leader of SGA and famous social reformer writer Manzoor Ujan said that living nations protect their heritage and culture, the best tradition has been established by presenting the culture of Sindh in a practically manner in Ghani Public Elementary School. He said that by organizing the book fair, a message has been given to Sindh to continue its conscious decoration, cultural days should be celebrated in this way.
Political and social leader Mian Nazimuddin Pirzada said that the land of Sindh is the owner of an ancient and great culture. Advocate Ijaz Ali Abro shared his views and said that the culture of rich Sindh has been rich, but now as Sindh is being dried up, the culture of Sindh is also changing. If this nation does not wake up from sleep, then after some time it will be difficult to save the culture, but it will not be possible to celebrate such days.
On this occasion, UC Chairman Azhar Ali Abro, Information Department official Vishal Amir, social leader Sadoro Khan Abro, famous poet and actor Mir Sobdar Saeed, famous researcher Hizbullah I Soomro, Professor Insaf Ali Mughal, poet and writer Ustad Naveed Abro, Professor Faheem Aslam, Imran Ali Rada, Shamshad Ali, Abdul Salam Abro and others also shared their views.
On this occasion, Principal Gulshan Ali Abro, Administrator Naqash Ali Abro welcomed the guests and gave them Ajrak. In the cultural program celebrated here, Ajrak, Relhi, Gaju, Pretham, Clay pots, Copper pots, Old Currency, Gulail, musical instruments, flute, bunindo, phono, yaktaro, chappri etc were put on display, which were appreciated by the onlookers and the students and guests from the book shop bought books and preserved the memory of the beautiful moments.
