Pakistan Press International (PPI) organized a two-day security training workshop on Election Reporting Fellowship under the supervision of law enforcement expert Dr. Syed Kaleem Imam, former Federal Secretary and Inspector General of Police. In the ongoing series of workshops across the country, Karachi, Peshawar, Lahore and then the final workshop was held in Quetta. Dr. Syed Kaleem Imam also invited first aid experts to the workshop who also gave practical first aid training to the participants.
Relevant Presentations were given by DIG Special Branch Abdul Ghaffar Qaisrani, DIG Crimes Ayaz Ahmad Baloch, DIG Telecommunications Ali Sher Jakhrani, DIG CTD Aetzaz Ahmed Goraya, SSP Operations Quetta Muhammad Jawad Tariq, AIG Legal Sajjad Tareen and the representatives from Civil Defense & Federal Investigation Agency. Additional Inspector General of Police Administration Balochistan Jawad Ahmad Dogar expressed his views and appreciated the important workshop and thanked all the participants.
Inspector General of Police Balochistan Abdul Khaq Sheikh was the chief guest of the concluding workshop. Who discussed the measures to provide security to journalists. In his address, he said that journalism is a great field that can play an important role in the development and prosperity of the country. IG Police Balochistan appreciated the efforts of Dr. Syed Kaleem Imam in the workshop organized by Pakistan Press International.
