Lahore, Lahore Police is intensifying its crackdown against law-breaking elements, registering a total of 9904 cases related to drug trafficking, 1370 cases against gambling, and 5144 cases against kite flying this year.
CCPO Lahore Bilal Siddique Kamyana, in his statement, disclosed that 8881 cases involving illegal weapons, 123 cases of the display of weapons, 4847 cases of one-wheeling, and 3374 cases related to the Sound Act have been filed. Additionally, 5601 cases under the Tenancy Act, 19 cases of wall chalking, and 46 cases of hateful material have been registered.
CCPO Lahore emphasized that the ongoing crackdown aims to further reduce the crime rate in the city. Bilal Siddique Kamyana affirmed the implementation of a zero-tolerance policy against individuals involved in drugs, illegal weapons, street crime, and serious offenses. He issued instructions for supervisory officers to personally oversee the crackdown, ensuring strict actions against law-breaking elements.
