QUETTA: The special polio immunization campaign commenced in 33 districts of Balochistan province on Monday.
According to the Emergency Operation Center (EOC) for Polio Eradication, the polio campaign was already launched in other three polio high risk districts including Quetta, Pishin and Killa Abdullah.
Needless to mention here is that the anti-polio campaign is already continued in the polio high risk districts of the province.
The EOC sources said that it was the third day of campaign concluded in Quetta, Pishin and Killa Abdullah.
The anti-polio campaign was started in these districts on November 24, 2023.
According to EOC, it has been targeted to vaccinate over 2.5 million children below five years of age during the campaign being run all over the province.
More than 1100 teams have been formed to vaccinate the children during the campaign.
