Over 1700 patients benefitted from free treatment facility in over 60 hospitals under Health Card Programme

QUETTA: More than 1700 patients have so far benefited from the free treatment facility in over 60 hospitals on the panel under Health Card Programme.
According to the official sources, the Government of Balochistan has endured the expense of over Rs. 76 million spent on the patients in the hospitals all over the country.
The sources said that some 226 cardiac patients got the treatment facility under the Health Card Programme at cost of Rs. 23 million.
Similarly, 313 patients of gynaecology got free treatment, and so 276 patients of general surgery got free treatment.
In all 62 patients of Neuro, 123 patients suffering from eye ailment and 105 patients of orthopaedic also got the free treatment under health card programme.
The patients got the free treatment in different hospitals located in Lahore, Rawalpindi, Multan, Gujrat, Bahawalpur, Dera Ghazi khan, Rahim Yar khan, Sialkot, Okara, Muzaffar Garh, Gujranwala and Vehari besides Quetta.
