20th Annual Convocation of University of Balochistan:

QUETTA: The Governor Balochistan, Malik Abdul Wali Khan Kakar has exhorted the graduates of the University of Balochistan to work for development and prosperity of the province and country contributing in the same tremendously.
The Governor was addressing the ceremony of 20th annual Convocation of UoB held here at its premises on Saturday.
The graduation ceremony was attended by the caretaker provincial ministers, Jan Achakzai, Dr Qadir Bakhsh Baloch and Captain (Retd) Mir Muhammad Zubair Jamali, administrative secretaries of different departments, elites, senior government functionaries, faculty members, students and their parents.
The Governor congratulated the graduates on successful graduation and expressed best wishes for their future.
He said that teachers happen to be the benefactors of the nation and irrespective of their religion and nationality they are respectful to everyone.
He said that we welcome the teachers coming from any part of the world with open heart.
He said that we have strong belief on it that one should also go to China to acquire knowledge even if it is required.
He said that the 20th annual convocation of UoB is a very happy moment for the students, teachers and their parents.
He congratulated the vice chancellor of UoB professor Dr Shafiqur Rehman and his whole team on the successful holding of the event.
He said that it is really a matter of pride and pleasure to participate in the convocation.
He said that although there are several other universities operating in the province, but UoB has the prominent status among all being the first higher educational institution.
He expressed the hope that the fresh graduates would utilise in their practical life whatever they have learnt from the university.
The Governor also said that the youngsters are considered to be the builder of future, but they are also our partners in our present.
Later he distributed degrees as well as gold medals among the graduates.
