Tandoor association announces strike in Quetta from today

QUETTA: The Quetta Tandoor Association has announced to observe strike of tandoors in Quetta from today (Friday).
This was announced by the Chairman Tandoor Association, Muhammad Naeem Khilji while addressing a press conference at Quetta Press Club on Thursday.
Naeem Khilji said that the Tandoor Association is forced to observe strike mainly because the Afghan citizenship card holder refugees working on the Tandoors are being bothered under the garb of campaign against the illegal immigrants.
He said that due to the situation, some 300 tandoors have been shut due to the situation.
While on the other hand, the district administration has also reduced price of the tandoori roti in the official price list, which is unacceptable.
He said that the Tandoor owners are forced to shut their tandoors due to the financial hardships as well.
